So, by now I am sure that you all know my deep love for thrifting. Haha, I realize that this is a gross undertstatement as I thrift nearly every day of my life. (I can't help it at this point...)
The other day I posted on IG about how to create a wardrobe, home, and life that are completely YOU and unapolagetically so. One of the ways I achieve a home and closet that are ME is by shopping all over, at every kind of store, and this includes DISCOUNT STORES.
*I define discount stores as places where the merchandise is NEW as upposed to second hand, and also is a fraction of the original retail price OR a very low original price ( dollar stores, Five Below, etc.)
You might be surprised by where I find some of the best pieces for my home and closet. That is why I wanted to share my secrets, lol.
In the past week here are a few of the places I have found clothing and accessories:
-Five Below https://www.fivebelow.com/
I found those beanie hats that I have only taken off to attend a wedding this weekend, otherwise I have lived in them.
-B2 OUTLET STORES https://b2outlets.com/
I found brand new in box with tags SOREL, Joan of Arctic boots for about half of retail (I have wanted a pair for years but could never afford them, so I am geeked!)
-Dollar Tree https://www.dollartree.com
I have found some cute headbands and scrunchies lately (which I hear from my middle schoolers are BACK, haha they think I'm old because I participated in these trends in the 90s and that seems like ancient history to them.)
Some of my other favorites (that I would include in my definition of DISCOUNT STORE):
-Burlington
-TJMAXX
-Home Goods
-Big Lots
I plan to post more about DISCOUNT STORE shopping, so stay tuned! And Happy Monday friends!
